This is a heart based company. I started this whole deal out for a few reasons. Initially I wanted to make a change. There are so many issues going on globally that I couldn’t start something that didn’t (at minimum) divert some resources to those that are helping. Organizations like Fair Trade Certified, Mercury One, Toys for Tots were always an inspiration for the goodness they spread here and abroad, that I had to contribute. Even some, we’ve officially partnered with. This is why we purchase ONLY Fair Trade Certified coffees. On a local level, we give through the Lattes of Love program (there are multiple Facebook posts about this).
Next, I needed something bigger than myself to contribute to after exiting the United States Marine Corps. What better way than by contributing to a long-held passion (great coffee) than by becoming a manufacturer of it. More importantly, by bringing that to the community I grew up in; the thrifty people I can commiserate the most with. Quality and attention to detail were instilled in me from being a professional chef and later a US Marine. I couldn’t imagine being alive if I couldn’t flex these on my own terms (small-business ownership).
All things included, delivery of these facets are of the highest importance. Delivering quality while giving back to the world are only valid with customer service that is attentive, enthusiastic and focused on building camaraderie. Delivery is key, and we strive to perfect and advance our service and service structure.
Finally, we bring all of these characteristics to life through retail and wholesale through multiple formats. At both levels, we take pride in product personalization via custom blending, roasting and brewing.
